Over the Christmas Holiday period many of the agencies that provide food assistance will be closed or have changed their opening times.
The agencies below have indicated that they will have some food assistance available during the Christmas Holiday period. Please note a number of the services will only support those in need from their local area or may have other requirements (like a healthcare card).

Anyone who is in crisis and lives in the Northern Suburbs up to Ballarat Road, North Geelong is welcome to access a food parcel from the 3-6 January during opening hours (~ 9.00am-2.30pm). |

Will operate every Friday night at 6.15 pm. This includes the following Fridays over the Christmas holiday:

| Christchurch Community Meals Program
Christchurch Parish Hall at the corner of Moorabool and Lt Myers streets |
Will operate for Breakfast every day and Evening Meals on Mondays and Wednesdays over the Christmas holiday.
The emergency cupboard in the church will be open from 12 – 2 on weekdays excluding Public Holidays.

Both the Smythe Street, Geelong and Freedman Street, North Geelong locations will be closed from Friday, 23 December and not reopen until 10:00am Monday, 9 January.
The Centre will however, be providing two Free Food days at the Freedman, North Geelong location during this period:
· Friday 30 December (12-2pm) · Friday 6 January (10am-12pm) Geelong location. |
